Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out how you may use your ACME Broadband account, the Performance Portal and the Performance Assessment. It applies to everyone who registers for an account on this site.
LAST UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2026
Permitted use
Your account is provided so that you can evaluate, request and review managed network performance services for your own organisation.
- Submitting performance assessments and measurement data for sites and applications you are authorised to represent.
- Reviewing results, reports and recommendations produced for your organisation.
- Contacting ACME Broadband about services, pricing and technical requirements.
Account and credential responsibility
Accounts are personal to the individual who registers them. Keep your password confidential, do not share your credentials, and do not allow another person to sign in as you.
Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You remain responsible for activity carried out under your credentials.
Prohibited activity
You must not use the site, the portal or your account to:
- Attempt unauthorised access to any account, system, network or data, or test security controls without our written permission.
- Interfere with, distort or falsify network measurement, assessment scoring or reporting.
- Scrape, harvest, crawl or bulk extract content, measurements or account data by automated means.
- Upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, malicious or deliberately misleading content.
- Submit patient information, personal health information or other sensitive personal data. The assessment is a network performance evaluation only.
- Resell, sublicense or otherwise make access to the portal available to a third party without our written agreement.
- Disrupt the availability of the service, including by excessive automated requests or denial of service activity.
Accuracy of what you submit
Information you enter is used to score performance opportunity and to plan technical work. Provide accurate details, and do not submit data for an organisation you are not authorised to act for.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, remove submitted content, or restrict access where we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, where required by law, or where continued access risks the security or stability of the service. Where it is practical and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.
Reporting misuse
Report suspected misuse, a compromised account or a security concern to admin@acmebroadband.com. Security reports are handled through our security contact page.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the version shown above. Where the change is significant we will ask you to accept the updated policy the next time you sign in.
